Denim & Diamonds

A Night to Remember

Every November, Oregon Aglink hosts Denim & Diamonds, an awards dinner and auction, which affords us the opportunity to raise funds for the Cultivating Common Ground initiative, ultimately supporting all of our programs like Adopt a Farmer and telling ag’s story.

Denim and Diamonds Logo one lineIn years past, this event serves to recognize those who have gone above and beyond in advocating the importance of agriculture to the economic, environmental and social well-being of the state of Oregon. Award winners are voted on by the Oregon Aglink Board of Directors each spring.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are suspending our typical awards and celebrating our 10 year anniversary of the Adopt a Farmer program!

We will still hold our silent and live auction with the best packages to bid on! To register to bid, follow this link. There is no cost to register to bid.

Award Nominations

Each year Oregon Aglink gives two awards out, based on nominations from the public which are then voted on by our Board of Directors. Nominations open in January and close in April each year.

Ag Connection Award – This honor is for an organization, business entity, or individual who has done an outstanding job connecting the public with agriculture.

Agriculturist of the Year – This award recognizes and honors an organization, business entity, or individual for an outstanding contribution to the agriculture industry as a whole.
